Know it's your ride before you get in.
ConVía is verified carpooling for the university community of Chía, Colombia. Drivers and passengers are students and staff with an institutional e-mail, and the app checks the arriving car with Meta's SAM 3.1 and Muse Spark.
Judges: use the demo accounts from the submission form. The passenger already has an accepted trip; open "Verificar mi carro" and try a sample video.
The problem
Congestion in Chía
Every day thousands of students drive alone to the campuses around Chía, on roads that were not built for it. Many cars carry one person while others wait for a bus.
Distrust of strangers
People don't share rides with strangers. ConVía only lets in verified members of the same institution, checks faces on the phone, and lets the passenger confirm the car before getting in.
Built during the hackathon
Pickup check
The passenger films the arriving car for 3 seconds. SAM 3.1 tracks the car and its plate across the frames, Muse Spark reads plate, brand and color from the best frame, and code decides: it's your ride, don't get in, or film again. About 6–8 s.
Vehicle autofill
From the vehicle photo, Muse Spark proposes brand, line, color and, only if fully legible, the plate. The driver confirms or corrects every field; the photo is not stored.
Spanish and English
The English interface is generated from the Spanish texts by a script that sends them to Muse Spark in batches and checks every key and placeholder, then reviewed by hand.

Try it
- Open the web app (or install the Android APK) and log in with the demo passenger.
- Go to Trips → My requests: the trip with Daniela is accepted.
- Tap "Verificar mi carro" and pick a sample video: the trip's car, another car, or the plate covered. The check runs on the real SAM 3.1 + Muse Spark pipeline.
- Log in as the demo driver and add a vehicle with a photo to see the autofill.
